Halloween – my most anticipated holiday of the year! Traditionally it’s a day dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. In Singapore though it’s a time to party and have loads of fun.

[divider]Challenge The Beast[/divider]
If it’s a challenge you’re after, have a go at the Beast Burger down along Jalan Klapa at The Beast – an American Southern styled kitchen & bourbon bar.
Nicknamed the mother of all burgers, the Beast Burger boasts 1.6 pounds of juicy beef patty, 1 pound of slow cooked pulled pork, 1 pound of southern buttermilk fried chicken and a good serving of slaw, lettuce and tomato all wedged between a custom-made 9 inch bun, served with a bucket of fries.
On Halloween, teams of 5 will have to finish the Beast Burger (together) and 1 Litre of beer (each) with bragging rights and vouchers to be won.
If you’re REALLY up for it, attack the Beast Burger all by yourself and get yourself up on the wall of fame. If you do, colour me impressed.

If you’d rather stay home, or go to someone else’s, put on the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror aka the Simpsons Halloween specials.
The Simpsons Halloween episodes, have been entertaining us since 1990 with its unique humour. They each consist of three in some horror, supernatural or sci-fi setting and have far more violence and gore than the average episode.
Not convinced? Check out the Simpsons intro directed by Guillermo del Toro and the sheer number of references, from the Pale Man to Blade, he manages to squeeze into the spot is mind blowing.
