Alien Day returns on April 26, a nod to planet LV-426 from the iconic ALIEN films, as the countdown continues for the highly anticipated new chapter in Ridley Scott’s groundbreaking ALIEN sci-fi thriller, ALIEN: COVENANT, releasing in theaters worldwide beginning May 10. In addition to all the events worldwide, fans in Singapore will be treated to their very own Alien experience.

The MINT Museum of Toys in Singapore will also hold a month-long Alien movie exhibition until May 28. The exhibition will showcase various Alien memorabilia and statues including limited edition collectibles. Admission to the museum is ticketed at $15 each and will include access to the other galleries in the museum.

The Mint Museum of Toys is a great choice to host the world of ALIEN with a vast collection of collectible toys which date back to the 60s. It really does help the public appreciate the franchise that’s almost 40 years old. From the moment you enter the museum, you’ll be greeted with bodies around the ground with Alien face huggers. And if that doesn’t get you into the mood the VR experience will let you witness the birth of an Alien – Chest Buster!

The unique VR experience that will feel like the first memory of an Alien Neomorph at the time of its birth. Initially launched on April 25, 7pm at MINT Museum of Toys, Starhub will bring the ALIEN VR experience to various parts of Singapore.

As part of ALIEN Day we were faans and media were treated to a screening of Alien 1 & 2 at GV Suntec. To be able to experience it in all its movie splendor just as if it was 1979 and 1986 respectively was incredible. A blast from the past, you could see the excitement in the eyes of fans. The experience has really made me a proper Alien Fan.
