If opportunity was the meeting of preparation and luck, then the rendezvous point was quite probably at this weekend’s Block Party, held at the Black Box of Goodman Arts Centre.
Organised by a group of friends, Block Party or “Bawa Block Party” as it’s also referred to, promises to cater to a spectrum of artistic disciplines from theatre and music, to photography and design With its choice of participants lending and eclectic vibe, and a chill atmosphere truly kin of its “bawa block” label it definitely lives up to its promise!
Between scheduled plays and music acts, as well as a few dance numbers, the event includes a couple of booths featuring photography and original art as well as a barter market. Don’t forget to check out the short film screenings as well!
Although the event began yesterday, the party only really starts tonight and will go on till tomorrow from 7pm to 10pm.
So head down to Goodman Arts Centre (just a 5-10 minutes walk from Mountbatten MRT Station with multiple Pokestops along the way) and check out what could be the first of many Block Parties to come.
