shares Set in contemporary London, and spinning right out of the Doctor Who Universe, comes CLASS, one of the latest BBC original series. While the Doctor has been gallivanting across space and time righting wrongs, the veil between space and time has grown really thin and the students of Coal Hill Academy carry on on their own adventures facing horrors that have decided that London needs a face-lift… and utter obliteration. Created by Patrick Ness, Class is set in Coal Hill Academy, a school Doctor Who fans will be familiar with, will revolve around six students and staff of the school. Mr. Armitage ( played by Nigel Betts) makes a return from Doctor Who season 8 and is joined by a relatively new and young cast starring Greg Austin (Charlie), Fady Elsayed (Ram), Sophie Hopkins (April), Vivian Oparah (Tanya) and Katherine Kelly as Miss Quill, a physics teacher. Class will air on BBC First (StarHub Channel 522 in Singapore) this October together with new supernatural series, The Living and the Dead, and the return of DCI Banks.
