Update:

Because Star Wars fans are a dangerous and voracious bunch, Disney’s released a whole new trailer for Solo!

Most interestingly, we also get a glimpse of Thandie Newton’s still unnamed character. However, could she be Sana Solo? Han’s “wife” who has already had her first appearance in the ongoing Star Wars comics by Marvel.

There aren’t very much similarities in terms of looks, and Newton’s character looks to be more severe and battle-hardened than John Cassaday’s depiction of her, but given Disney’s dedication to creating a cohesive universe for Star Wars across all media, I wouldn’t quite rule out anything yet.

Original:

Following the success of Rogue One, the A Star Wars Story anthology of films continues with this spotlight on the iconic Han Solo.

Interestingly, Han’s Imperial roots from the pre-Disney era of the Expanded Universe seems to have been maintained. Additionally, we get our first look at the Millennium Falcon and Donald Glover’s Lando Calrissian–arguably the most missed character of this age of Star Wars movies.

Additionally, we get a glimpse at Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke as their mysterious characters, but I think it’s safe to say one’s a mentor and the other is a love interest… I’m just not too sure who plays which.
