862shares The universe has been at unrest since the announcement of Spider-Man joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War. While it was obviously only a matter of time before Spidey got his own movie, it still feels like it’s been forever. Thankfully, we’re just a few scant months away from the movie (it still feels like forever more to go!), and a new trailer is here to make them months feel all that more painful. I’ll be honest, my first thought was “Too much Tony, guys!” But then the lines about what makes a hero a hero came about and the worries were gone… along with the painful reminder that for all of its wit, and humour, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has managed to tackle the more serious themes of superheroism without the idiotic pretence of the DCEU. Also, the Mark 47 looks great! And, calling it now, Vulture’s stealing the show. I fully expect him to be the best Spider-Man villain since Spider-Man 2‘s Doc Ock.
