One of the most exclusive champagnes in the world, Cattier, can now be sipped delightfully in Singapore! The 400-year-old Champagne Cattier has introduced eight of its exquisite champagnes to Singapore’s market, and they’re meant to be distributed only at Bottles & Bottles, starting July!
Across physical storefronts and online, Bottles & Bottles seem to have seen steady growth over the last five years, owing to the growing palates that Singaporeans have had for bubbles and wines. Champagne Cattier has deemed this a prime opportunity to expand their presence in Asian markets.
Champagne Cattier is Fab
Cattier’s vineyards are mostly classified as Premier Crus; a classification which typically denotes the ‘cream of the crop’ reputation that wines and fruit have, fetching high prices in international markets. The vineyards of The Cattier House have been certified Haute Valeur Environmentale Level 3, which is the highest level.
This is achieved with their vineyards that stretch over 33 hectares, with the deepest cellars in Champagne that can hold five million bottles. The grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier) are all harvested by hand in the brand’s respect for nature and their adherence to long-standing tradition.
What To Expect
Here’s what you’re going to be able to find in Singapore’s Bottles & Bottles: Cattier Brut Icône, Brut Dry (Glamour), Prut Premier Cru, Brut Rosé Premier Cru, Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru, Clos du Moulin Brut, and Clos du Moulin Rosé.
The bottles range from an affordable $60-$123, and will be available from July 2019. As it turns out, good champagne and palate experiences aren’t necessarily as expensive as you may deem them to be.
