Prepare for a larger-than-life week of excitement atop Marina Bay Sands with innovative cuisine, impeccable wine pairings, and electrifying beats. Futurebound defines this year’s Night Race Week with a futuristic portrait studio, transporting guests to an alternate state. Indulge in exclusive Race Week set menus fueled by the region’s signature flavours and spices. Be engulfed by the pulses of fluorescent lights and dazzling LED clad entertainers, culminating in an explosive dancefloor where the party lasts all night.
CÉ LA VI flags off the festivities at the Restaurant, where Executive Chef Joey Sergentakis has specially curated a Modern Asian 5-course(S$198++) and 6-course (S$298++) Race Week set menu. Embark on a culinary journey as the exceptional menu begins with succulent Bigeye Tuna Tartare with Black Truffle Soy Sauce garnished with grated horseradish, showcasing a unique combination of flavours. Followed by the Rice Flake Crusted Lobster Tail – Hot & Sour Glaze accompanied with pomelo and watermelon. Serving premium ingredients from land and sea, additional dishes on the menu include; Soy Poached Foie Gras with Rhubarb & Pistachios and Pan Seared Patagonian Toothfish and Slow Roasted Wagyu Beef Ribeye with spiced chili jam, perfectly balanced with a mint and coriander salad and garnished with pineapple to enliven the spicy notes in this dish.
Completing the decadent curation is Strawberries & Cream. A simple, elegant dessert made up of, strawberry compote, yoghurt espuma topped with rose water foam, offering an unprecedented finish to this premium dining experience.
The menu is complemented with an exceptional selection of wines hand-picked by CÉ LA VI’s Mathias Camilleri, the first Master Sommelier in Singapore. Guests can choose to pair the menus with premium wines, available at an additional price of S$168++ for the 5-course menu and S$248++ for the 6-course menu, respectively. Some of the fine wines and champagne will include Château de Berne Terres de Berne (Côtes de Provence, France 2014), Clos Saint-Philibert Domaine – Méo Camuzet (Burgundy, France 2009) and Les Tourelles De Longueville (Pauillac, Bordeaux 2013).
Once fueled up at the restaurant, go full speed ahead to the Club Lounge for the ultimate Night Race experience. Guests dining at the restaurant will enjoy complimentary entry, with a minimum spend of $150 per pax from Friday to Sunday.
Kick off the festivities by soaking in the stunning views before the adrenaline-charged race begins – or stay on and catch the race on the multiple screens covering it throughout the venue. The Club Lounge is set to host the most electrifying parties of this year. The jam-packed week of entertainment will feature globally renowned DJs such as LA’s DJ Primetyme, Red Bull Racing’s Official DJ EROK, Swiss DJ and producer EDX and LA-based DJs, Fleetmac Wood, alongside resident All-Star DJ talent.
Prepare for a heart-thumping night as DJ Primetyme gets the engines running on Thursday 13th September, with his signature high energy remixes and hype edits. Friday, 14th September brings an eclectic fusion of funk, house and hip-hop with DJ EROK. As an International DJ who has played everywhere from Barcelona to Shanghai, he is a man who never stops. Erok’s global travels have seen him spin Formula One events in Monte Carlo and the Red Bull after-ride parties at Chile’s Valle Nevado ski resort. Friday promises to be a night of infectious music and good vibes.
DJ EDX joins the party on Saturday, 15th September with his chart-topping electronic sounds. As a Swiss-Italian DJ, producer, label head and founder of internationally renowned record company Sirup Music, EDX has spent the past twenty-five years at the forefront of electronic music. Following the incredible success of 2017, which saw hits such as ‘Dharma’, ‘Feel The Rush’, this year has started off in a similar fashion, with recent hits on Spinnin’ Records, ‘Jaded’ and ‘Anthem’, reaching similar heights. This night is not one to be missed.
Sunday pre-race takes the hype a notch higher with CÉ LA VI x Sunshine Nation’s ‘Noon-to-moon’ daytime party. Bask in infectious beats and remixes day-to-night with LA-based DJs, Fleetmac Wood. Twirling through disco, techno and house, DJ duo Roxanne Roll and Smooth Sailing have taken Fleetmac Wood from Berlin to Burning Man and share their passion with like-minded hedonists around the world.
