DC Fandome Movie and Video Game Trailer Round-Up

From the Snyder Cut and WW84 to Suicide Squad and Gotham Knight video games, DC Fandome seems to have had it all!

If there’s anyone who understand how bleak 2020 has been it would be the people behind the DC movies thus far. So it’s with little surprise that DC has continued with relative optimism, and have revealed a fair number of first looks at DC Fandome.

The people asked and they’re getting it! Zack Snyder will finally get his chance of working on a version of Justice League for HBOMax!

Justice League is schedule to hit HBOMax in 2021!

Black Adam

Dwayne Johnson is set to star as the DC Comics anti-hero in this film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. The DC FanDome panel presented concept art of what fans can expect from the Shazam spin-off, including Black Adam’s costume.

Black Adam is scheduled to open December 22, 2021.

Wonder Woman 1984

Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah.

With director Patty Jenkins back at the helm and Gal Gadot returning in the title role, Wonder Woman 1984 is Warner Bros. Pictures’ follow up to the DC Super Hero’s first outing, 2017’s record-breaking Wonder Woman, which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office. Jenkins directed from a screenplay she wrote with Geoff Johns & David Callaham, story by Jenkins & Johns, based on characters from DC.

The film also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.

The Batman

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves with a script from Reeves and Peter Craig. It stars Robert Pattinson starring as Gotham City’s vigilante detective, Batman, and billionaire Bruce Wayne; Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman; Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler; Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon; John Turturro as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Barry Keoghan as Officer Stanley Merkel; Jayme Lawson (“Farewell Amor”) as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis as Alfred; and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin.

While movies are certainly highly anticipated, it can be argued that DC’s games have not only appealed to a wider audience, but have also received greater response from critics.

And Fandome did not disappoint.
