David De Gea, Luke Shaw, Diego Dalot and Mason Greenwood donned Maui Jim’s latest official Manchester United Club Collection that will feature four styles of sunglasses and a new red mirror treatment inspired by the colours of the Red Devils.
On top of the complimenting colours, the sunglasses in the collection will also have the ‘MAN UTD’ text on the lens and the Red Devils logo at the temple area. It is made with high end monel metal and comes with adjustable nosepads.
Rocking these Maui Jim sunglasses at the Fullerton Bay Hotel last Sunday was possible future captain of Manchester United, David De Gea. The Spanish goalkeeper is reported to be close to signing a new six-year contract with the Reds worth a staggering £117million! Furthermore, if he does sign, De Gea will be earning £375,000 a week which is a huge jump from his £200,00 a week contract at the moment.
Even with his slight dip in form last season, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær is clearly determined to keep the 28-year old at Old Trafford for a couple more years. I mean…who wouldn’t? De Gea is also very keen on taking on the Manchester United captaincy which will also be a great gift to Manchester United fans who have been eagerly waiting to see the armband around their beloved goalie on a regular basis for years now.
With his future being uncertain for the past few years especially with the likes of Real Madrid trying to steal him away from United (like they always do), this contract will also mean that it’s gonna take A LOT from other clubs to take De Gea away from United over the next few years.
If things run smoothly, big, brave Spanish Dave might just be the happiest United player donning Maui Jim’s sunglasses with all the money stacked in his gloves.
