Since its grand reopening on July 10, 2024, the hotel has welcomed guests back to iconic spots like StraitsKitchen and BRIX. More exciting venues like Pete’s Place and The Shop are set to open on August 19, 2024.
The Oasis bar is already serving patrons, with the restaurant slated to open on September 9, 2024. The much-anticipated grand opening of Le Pristine Singapore by Michelin-starred Chef Sergio Herman and the revamped Martini Bar is scheduled for October 2024.
Rediscover Classic Favorites: StraitsKitchen and BRIX
StraitsKitchen, known for its authentic Singaporean ethnic cuisine, has reclaimed its place as the first Halal-certified buffet restaurant in a five-star hotel on Orchard Road.
Featuring vibrant show kitchens, StraitsKitchen serves various dishes prepared à la minute, representing Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Nonya culinary traditions. Under the leadership of Chef de Cuisine Nelson Wong, who brings over 25 years of experience, the menu is meticulously curated to preserve the authenticity of each dish.
Guests can look forward to premium specials like Fish Head Curry, Sustainable Salted Egg Prawns, BBQ Roaring Forties Lamb, a fresh juice bar, and desserts that celebrate Singapore’s rich cultural heritage.
BRIX, a premier live entertainment venue at the intersection of Orchard Road and Scotts Road, has also reopened with its signature blend of dynamic performances and enhanced beverage offerings.
BRIX hosts live performances five nights a week, featuring two distinct zones—the Live Zone with a large island bar and live stage, and the Quiet Zone with a refined wine and whisky bar—featuring a versatile and vibrant nightlife experience.
Pete’s Place and The Shop Return in August
On August 19, 2024, Pete’s Place and The Shop will make their much-anticipated return. Pete’s Place continues to serve authentic Italian comfort food under the guidance of newly appointed Chef Salvatore Giorgio Catania from Puglia, Italy.
The restaurant now features a private dining room, a grand wine cellar, and a chef’s table, offering an intimate kitchen-to-tableside experience. The menu highlights include Costoletta alla Milanese, an Antipasti bar, and the signature Negroni Flight.
The Shop, a gourmet hub, offers barista-crafted coffee, freshly baked goods, and a curated selection of premium ingredients. Guests can also indulge in exclusive products like the first-in-Singapore First Fill Sherry Butt Cask featuring Glenlivet 16-Year single malt whisky, and the unique pandan-infused Scotts Lager, created in collaboration with Brewerkz.
The Shop will also showcase GAJA Grappas, exclusive to Asia, available by the glass at Pete’s Place and as gift sets.

The Oasis Bar, already open, offers a diverse culinary experience with six distinct settings, including both indoor and outdoor dining areas.
