All the way from the land of the rising sun, Despicable Me‘s little Minions have invaded our little red dot and opened a little pop up café in partnership with PARCO Co.. Starting from the 23rd of November 2017 up to the 31st of January 2018, Singaporeans will get to enjoy Minion inspired food and drinks at Orchard Central!
Just like its counterpart in Japan the Minions Café will be selling 14 menu items that are inspired by the Minions from the movie, ranging from Minion looking rice dishes, printed-on Minion latte art, and even ice cream scoops that look like Minions.
On top of the menu items the café also sells Minions Café exclusive goods not found any where else in the world! So all you hardcore Minion collectors who haven’t had a chance to go to Japan should totally get your Minion collectible fix here!
Now, in my personal opinion I wasn’t a big fan of the food and I found it overpriced, but going to these types of cafés is more for the atmosphere and theme rather than the food itself and if you’re a huge Minion fan you should totally check this place out.
My personal recommendation if you’re going down to the café would be to stick to the desserts which a little on the sweet side but a 100 times better than their main courses. Also don’t forget to take photos of the Minion themed waiters and props while you’re there!
