New Red Bull Plus Loads Up With Vitamin Bs, Meets HCS Sugar Guidelines

Red Bull has expanded its offerings to introduce Red Bull Plus, a new formula fortified with Vitamin B5, B6, and B12 to boost energy levels and support immunity and mental function.

Compliant with Singapore’s Health Promotion Board HCS (Healthier Choice Symbol) Sugar Guidelines, the new Red Bull Plus contains less than 6% sugar.

The Healthier Choice Symbol on packaged food products indicates that they are (not necessarily healthy, but…) healthier options than others.

Vitamins B5, B6, and B12 play a central role in the normal functions of the brain and nervous system. Vitamin B5 contributes to normal mental performance, and Vitamin B6 and B12 are essential to energy production and increasing mental alertness and productivity.

Deficiency in Vitamin B12 can reduce the work capacity of individuals by up to 20%, with studies indicating that Vitamin B12 deficiency is one of the most prevalent micronutrient deficiencies in the world.

“Singaporeans are increasingly time pressured with hectic work schedules. As Singapore’s number one energy drink choice, we want to give consumers the boost they need – at work, sports, study and play – without compromising on taste and efficacy to help them stay on top of their game,”
Mr. Lam Pin Woon, Director of Allswell Trading Pte Ltd.

“Whether you’re a jet-setter, fitness junkie, office worker, student or simply enjoying a night out, Red Bull Plus will help you maintain your active lifestyle and charge you through the day,” added Mr. Lam.

Red Bull Plus is now available in Singapore at $1.20 per can and $6.70 for a set of 6 cans, in addition to the already available Red Bull Classic and Red Bull 25% Less Sugar.
