HBO GO has confirmed that it will be streaming new episodes of Rick and Morty and rolling out the Season 5 premiere across the region on Monday, June 21.
At the same time, Rick and Morty fans can get a megadose of access and content of all things Rick and Morty during GLOBAL RICK AND MORTY DAY (#globalrickandmortyday). This will be an out-of-this-world celebration with behind-the-scenes footage and special surprises across Adult Swim and HBO Asia’s social platforms.
To get you in the mood, from June 14, the HBO GO team has also curated a Rick and Morty: Family Adventures viewing “rail” on the app. That means you can binge on your favourite eps from Seasons 1-4, which are also all available on the service.
Rick and Morty is the award-winning half-hour animated hit comedy series from WarnerMedia brand Adult Swim that follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.
Rick Sanchez is living with his daughter Beth’s family and constantly bringing her, his son-in-law Jerry, granddaughter Summer, and grandson Morty into intergalactic escapades.
Rick and Morty stars Justin Roiland (Solar Opposites), Sarah Chalke (Firefly Lane), Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live), and Spencer Grammer (Greek). The series is created by Dan Harmon (Community) and Roiland, who also serve as executive producers.
HBO GO is available on Android TV, Apple TV, LG TV and Samsung Smart TV – and comes with AirPlay and Google Cast functionality.
