Sacha Baron Cohen, of Ali G and Borat fame, returns to TV with a new comedy series – Who is America?

Who is America is a brand new satirical half-hour series from Cohen who’s made a career of poking fun at politics, politicians, countries, cultures, lifestyles and well… everything, returns to series television for the first time in more than a decade, writing and directing the show.

Cohen burst onto the comedy scene with Da Ali G Show, which received six Emmy Award nominations and two BAFTA awards during its four-year run where he was executive producer, writer and actor on the series.

More recently though, he’s been on the big screen with Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, and then Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, The Dictator and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues among others.

In the works over the past year, the seven-episode series will explore the diverse individuals, from the infamous to the unknown across the political and cultural spectrum. The first episode will debut on FX (Singtel TV Ch. 310 | StarHub TV Ch. 507) and FOX+ on Monday, 16 July at 11 p.m., same day as the U.S.

WHO IS AMERICA? premieres on 16 July, Monday at 11 pm on FX (Singtel TV Ch. 310 | StarHub TV Ch. 507) and FOX+, same day as the U.S.
