Halloween, the season when the devils, demons, and naughties come out to play in their wicked best. A staple on the Singapore nightlife and party calendar, it’s the weekend where the drinks are long, and the dresses… not so much.

BANG BANG, is looking to revolutionise Halloween on Saturday, 27th October. Breaking the rules of the typical Halloween ‘Fright Nights’, the nightclub will celebrate with a refreshing new theme – Ready, Player One. Paying homage to the iconic and nostalgic 80’s virtual reality world craze, BANG BANG invites revellers to take a step into the past with retro favourites including Mario, Luigi and Pikachu.
All guests dressed in the 80’s arcade theme will be able to win tokens for the exclusive Halloween themed Claw Machine arcade game. CÉ LA VI is hosting two unforgettable nights for Halloween with CÉ LA VI x Grey Goose presents Halloween 2018 feat. Cirque Le Soir on Saturday, 27 October 2018, and Diamond Life present Dead on Neon on Wednesday, 31 October 2018.
Now in its fourth year running, London’s award-winning Cirque Le Soir is back by popular demand with a fantasy realm of S&M dungeon that will see guests immersed in their interactive, theatrical acts: fire breathers, exotic dancers and eccentric contortionists. On Halloween itself, Ladies Night will be undergoing a neon takeover with vivid paints, glowing headbands, and Kandi beats. From the deep, dark waters of the Singapore River, sea creatures will rise up to haunt visitors at Clarke Quay’s annual Halloween extravaganza called Tales of the River taking place 27th to 31st October 2018. Deploying virtual reality technology for the first time at Clarke Quay; shoot, catch, save the world from zombies and monsters and win prizes as you immerse in real-world interactions.
Featuring decor designed to spook the living daylights out of visitors, come dressed in your Halloween best and ride the terrifying waves of the Undead Boatmen Cavern, Mermaids’ Den, Monsters of the Sea and Loch Ness Lake.
Visitors can take part in Tales of the River’s virtual reality Zombie Mania Shoot-Out Challenge featuring not one but two spooky VR plays – Spooky Night, a free cartoon-style VR shooter game, or The BrookHaven Experiment.
The top 10 finalists of The BrookHaven Experiment VR challenge will then battle it out for the final play in apocalyptic mode on the 31st of October where they stand to win up to $3,000 worth of prizes such as PS4 Pro 1TB, Nintendo Switch, Razer Headset and vouchers.
Tales of the River will also feature kid-friendly daytime activities such as monster doll making and painting workshops on the weekend of the 27th and 28th of October, noon to 6 pm.
