The Cadbury Dairy Milk Durian is back by popular demand in Singapore for a limited time only this July and August.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Durian chocolate bar is a unique blend of silky smooth milk chocolate with the bold flavour of Durian, our King of Fruits.
First launched in Singapore last year, Cadbury Dairy Milk Durian’s return aims to celebrate the local cultures and flavours of the nation once again.
The Durian is such a polarising fruit – probably more so than any other. You either love it or hate it. There is hardly ever a middle ground. A delicacy in this region, the fruit is often used in “dare challenges” due to its distinct flavour and aroma.
Two members of our crew, Zed and Kyle taste the Cadbury Dairy Milk Durian and give their thoughts:
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Durian definitely contains the essence of Durian and the aroma escapes the moment you open the bar – even with the inner foil on!
In addition to the Durian, the chocolate bar also contains wheat crispies that add to the texture and provide a nice crunch. The bar is also noticeably heavier than normal Cadbury Dairy Milk offerings.
While not for everyone, this is one Durian and chocolate lovers will enjoy and appreciate… much to the annoyance of their non-Durian lover friends and family.
