Fans can get ready for an exhilarating evening at the much-anticipated world premiere of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts on Saturday, 27 May taking place at Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands, where the tranquil waterfront near ArtScience Museum will be lit up in a dazzling pyrotechnic and projection mapping display as the film’s star cast and filmmakers hit the red carpet.
The promenade will first transform into a landing site for Mirage – the latest Autobot to make its Asian debut following the high-impact launch of the Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal statues at Gardens by the Bay. The 4.5-metre life-sized Mirage statue will only be in Singapore for three days from 26 to 28 May 2023, and will hold court at the entrance of ArtScience Museum. Transformers fans are welcomed to ‘meet-and-greet’ with Mirage, capture photos and videos to immortalise their real-life encounter with the film’s scene-stealing Autobot.
On the evening of 27 May, Mirage will be joined on the red carpet by the large entourage from Singapore’s very first blockbuster star tour since 2019. Director Steven Caple Jr., producers Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian, and cast members Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback and Tobe Nwigwe, are specially flying into town to celebrate the film premiere alongside media and content creators from around the world.
In epic Transformers fashion, guests and spectators surrounding ArtScience Museum and across Marina Bay will be treated to an original, never-before seen Transformers audio visual extravaganza, which will illuminate the bay area and the night sky.
Fans and members of the public are invited to partake in the festivities of the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Singapore World Premiere that evening, just before 6pm. They will be able to secure their preferred spots for the best views of the show and catch all the red carpet star appearances.
